Cookie policy

Most cookie policies are long because the site behind them is doing a lot of tracking. This one is short for the opposite reason.
This website sets no cookies at all. No advertising, no tracking pixels, no cross-site profiling. That is also why you are not being asked to dismiss a consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
What a cookie actually is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so it can recognise your browser next time. Similar technologies do the same job by other means: local storage, session storage and IndexedDB all keep data on your device. UK law treats them the same way, so this policy covers all of them and uses "cookie" as shorthand throughout.
The law splits them in two. A cookie that is strictly necessary for something you asked for, such as staying signed in, does not need your consent. Everything else does, and it has to be off until you give it.

The marketing site you are reading sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It is a set of static pages.
We do count visits, using Plausible Analytics. Plausible is cookieless by design: it records a page view and a rough country, and it does not set a cookie, does not use a device fingerprint and does not follow you to other sites. There is no personal data in it, so there is nothing here for you to opt out of.
The Drivio app (m.drivio.uk)
The app is a different matter, because an app that cannot remember you would ask you to sign in on every screen. Everything it stores is strictly necessary, which is why it does not ask for consent.

None of it is shared with anyone else, and none of it is used to advertise to you or to track you on other websites. Signing out clears the lot.
Managing and clearing this
You can clear site data for drivio.uk or m.drivio.uk at any time from your browser settings, and you can block cookies for a site entirely. Worth knowing before you do: blocking storage for the app will sign you out and keep signing you out, because there is nowhere left to keep your session.
Because nothing here is optional tracking, there is no cookie-preference panel to open. If that ever changes, one will appear.
If this changes
If we ever introduce a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent before it is set, provide a way to change your mind, and update this page and the date at the top of it. We will not quietly start tracking and rely on you re-reading this page.
